Accept the worst will happen, do your best to prevent it from happening (bathe, brush teeth, use deoderant, comb hair), then ask her out. If she says no, you were ready for it. If she says yes, GL on the date and don't go past 1st base until you get married. BTW, as other have said 14 is too young for love. In fact true love usually doesn't start to develop until you've been a couple for about 5 years. 14 is about the right age to start getting interested in girls, just be sure to have a chaperon (ie someone takes a parent along).

If you can't build up the nerve ask her out, take up kitty girl anime because that's as close as you'll ever get to a woman.
